My favorite hero in Dota 2 - Oracle

This is a dedication post to one of the more used heroes of mine, Oracle. I’m usually a support player, but when I’m playing low rank games and I don’t feel like playing cores I’ll pick up Oracle. When he was first released, he was quite an annoying hero to play against, his ultimate would naturally give you invisibility, and almost every carry that had an Oracle to sit them were the luckiest players at the moment.

Soon after, Oracle got nerfed and they removed his ability to make people invisible through his ulti (not until later on where it was added back in as a level 20(?) talent). This was alright though, as oracle was still a very strong support. He is one of the few supports that can actively disable buffs while keeping himself alive with his insane range and movility.

He has a 365 damage nuke that has only 2.25 seconds of cooldown, he has a skill which is basically the equivalent to heaven halberd but imo better as it can be used protectively as well. Let’s not forget he has his first skill that can root opponents while casting a simple dispel on them. Heroes like Ember Spirit would generally struggle playing against oracle as his main skill- Flame Guard can just be dispelled with a spell that has under 10 seconds cooldown.

Play more Oracle guys, it’s a really great hero, trust me!
