Warlock has received countless of buffs this patch, and has since became one of the strongest supports in the meta right now. The biggest difference contribution this hero has is obvious Fatal Bonds (disregarding his ulti), it is single handedly one of the strongest spells in terms of a team fight, having the whole team (if casted well) sharing damage, totalling up to a very disadvantaged teamfight.
His ultimate is coincidentally one of the stronger teamfight spells as well, with it’s biggest perk being it goes through even magic immunity. It’s biggest advantage would be it being able to be an initiating spell, but more so of a spell to reset a bad teamfight. A quick drop of his rocks and a teamfight would turn almost most of the time.
Unlike heroes like Enigma or magnus, his spells are relatively easy to land without having it being risky when casting. His cast range is relatively long and even without a blink dagger, utilizing his ultimate couldn’t be any easier.
