I'm addicted.
Yesterday, kuya Arnold challenged me in messenger to play EverWing. Our mutual friend, Neil added me in a group chat specifically created for the EverWing game. It's like a guild. Today, I can't stop playing it. It's so addictive and is a lot of fun. It reminds me of Sword Art Online.
EverWing vibes SAO.
Sword Art Online is an anime created by Reki Kawahara that takes place in the near future. It's all about various virtual reality worlds of Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs). From SAO, the virtual reality Alfheim Online (ALO) was created. Then, another VRMMORPG, Gun Gale Online (GGO) was presented next.
The EverWing's characters look like the the ALO Avatars. The level 1-14 beginner character, Alice seems too be comparable with SAO's Asuna. The vibe is similar except the wings because Asuna got wings when she was in ALO already. The sidekicks can be translated into ALO's pixie companions.
Meanwhile, the game's Boss Raid is similar to SAO's Boss Battles where in a group would help each other to beat an enormous monster king and drain its health points (HP) in order to get rewards. The game is also like SAO because of the levels. Each level has its own floor boss with corresponding HP. The higher the level, the stronger the HP.
I haven't explored the game yet.
In the Main Menu, there are 5 buttons. (See picture below.)
I got to open everything except Quests. I haven't played any Quests, yet but I will soon. Our group is currently fighting the Level 3 boss in Boss Raids, my character is still Alice who is in Level 39 and I got 6 dragons for sidekicks. They are Magnis, Lavabolt, Cinde, Rex, Moss and Blizzle. Leaderboard is the Hall of Champions led by my friend, Neil de Leon with a total points of 1,692. I'm only 5th with 738 points.
