The toxicity in League of Legends and other games.

I discovered today and this past week as a returning player to League that the toxicity has massively increased. Kinda thinking as I normally do I just ignore it and continue my game but I couldn't help but think on the other side too... Some people are affected greatly by what others say in game. They become demoralized, tilted, angry, depressed. The whole nine yards. I would do something but unfortunately, I am unable to. I started thinking of ways to out reach to Riot thinking maybe they could do something about it but they'll put it on the back burner for ages.

Then coming to a swift conclusion that it will always be a toxic community regardless of what is done. It's inevitable in every game we play. You'll find that one person that just HATES everyone's guts for usually no reason and the few for a good reason but the person on the receiving end doesn't take it too well, they become upset and those two or three end up ruining everyone's experience in game. I've seen so many issues with this in many games and if only there was a way that some completely separate system or something that is merged with another program or something that is used for reporting could be implemented. Maybe could be able to make a difference.

For someone to be able to break the normal reporting barriers and take these guys out and out right ban them or do what Titanfall did with the cheaters. In Titanfall, cheaters were placed in a cheaters/hackers server permanently so nobody would have to worry about them. So others could play in somewhat peace and harmony. I want for people to be able to recognize this as an actual issue. The system would take multiple reports as any other but after a certain amount of reports and they have been validated with proof then they would be sent on their happy, trolling, flaming, rage-inducing, negative behavioral ways then other people can enjoy it. The newer players could actually be paired with other nice players, ones that can help these guys become better instead of bashed on. I myself kinda think some of the people I am paired with or play with are pretty bad but I don't go around just hating on them for no reason. I give tips and suggestions on what they should do better or maybe help them in lane if they are lacking and mine is fine.

You get the idea right? I don't see this happening in the near future though and it is very difficult to pinpoint those people. I just hope there are others out there as far and few in between that friend these poor players and game with them, help them out, and teach them stuff to improve their game. I like meeting new people and I think that I find it important that even if someone played like complete crap but they were a positive player that wasn't spewing out garbage in chat that they deserve the time of day. They deserve to be treated that same way and to have someone help them so that they can become a better player then hopefully a better influence on a different player that wasn't doing so well. It's a good thing to be able to see a community with at least a few great people that can make the games we play a positive and enjoyable experience. All I can do really is hope that some day it's implemented but for now, I'll continue making people's game experiences a great one when they play with me in the hopes that they will eventually do the same for others.
