Incremental games are the perfect game for lazy gamers like myself. Why waste time running around shooting, collecting, crafting etc. when the game does all the heavy lifting for you?
Well, it's not totally hands free, but it's pretty close. I like to click around periodically to help things along, like "observing the sky" to make a starchart, or mass crafting materials needed for larger goals that exceed current inventory capacity.
I also like how there are goals that are clearly marked on how to achieve them. No running around looking for that elusive item to complete a quest that ends up only rewarding you with an insignificant item!
As you can see, the kittens have fun names and varied job titles, and they work tirelessly round the clock for you! Well, unless you run out of catnip, then they start to die off :'( This is a problem that is easy to fix, and once you've got an established village, it's very easy to prevent it from happening again!
There's also of course crafting, as well as upgrades to equipment and production buildings! You can also research scientific breakthroughs which can have some surprising results sometimes (well, as long as you don't peek at the wiki...).
