Not too long ago, I was a scrub like you. Hell, I've only played this game a few days ago and I still haven't fully explore all the functions of the game yet. However, our land is in great danger and I will do whatever it takes to prepare you for the battlefield!!!

Recruit your first hero!

In order to play the game, you gotta recruit your very first hero. Now, I don't remember how much it was, but I can assure you that it was fairly cheap. When you're done, you will find out that your hero is too weak to challenge the current dungeon or do anything useful. Pathetic. I hate to say this, but the game wants you to dump a few dollars worth of ETH in to power up your soldier. When you hover over to the train button, the game will tell you your success rate. Pick your dungeon

If you click on the globe to the left of the screen, you will see the current map that you're in. On the bottom left, you can also toggle between the Abyss and the Holy. Whenever a hero train, a portion of his/her ETH will go towards the dungeon. Each successful challenge will give you a portion of the accumulated rewards. The rewards is usually at 45%, but sometimes you get a bit more. For example, the last dungeon I challenge had a reward pool of 0.009 and I received 0.0059 ETH. That's a whopping 65%!!! When traveling to a different dungeon, it will cost you a bit of Ethereum (less than a dollar worth). For example, at one of the dungeon, I was spending 0.004 on gas and made 0.0047. My profit is a measly 0.0007. If I were to challenge the dungeon again, I would be losing money rather than gaining. I did the right thing by spending 0.001 eth and move to the HOLY LAND ( a different dungeon) because the reward was 0.009. I spent 0.001 to challenge the dungeon and made 0.004. My profit is 0.002. How much gas should I spend?

Using Metamask, you have the option to put in your own gas price. By using the ETH Gas Station, I can lower my cost of gas and increase my overall profit. The safest price is the standard price. Honestly, I need to power up my hero more, so I can test my full profitability in the Abyss. https://ethgasstation.info/

How do I withdraw?

WIth your Metamask connected, withdrawing your ETH is pretty simple. On your dungeon screen, there's a big ass button with a WITHDRAW sign for you to click. Of course, withdrawing your ETH will also cost you a bit of gas. My advice? WIthdraw your money once you accumulate a lot more profits, so you don't lose money on gas lol. The market

To access the market, look for the scale. Once you're in the market, you can buy other heroes or trade your own.

Unmentions

There are also occasional events where you can challenge your way into owning your own dungeon. There are also mini games that comes with their own rules and reward pool. I haven't dive much into the game yet, so I can't tell you much about it.

Conclusion:

Honestly, I think the game is pretty cool, but the pace is too slow for me. Why? Well, almost everything in the game requires a transaction and it can get pretty tedious. If you're paying a safelow amount of gas, you will have to wait a minimum of 30minutes to get your results. Standard gas, however, is x<5m. You can learn more on their page. Remember that gas prices tend to fluctuate. In order to get the most profits, you must take into the account of traveling + challenging fees - reward pool (45% or more) = $$$
