The company Ubisoft officially announced its new AAA project, which turned out to be the game Tom Clancy's The Division 2. The project will be demonstrated in detail already at E3 2018.
Studio Massive Entertainment told about the active development of the game The Division 2. In total, five internal studios Ubisoft participate, including Ubisoft Annecy, Redstorm, Ubisoft Reflections, Ubisoft Bucharest and Ubisoft Shanghai. It is also known that the basis of the game The Division 2 will be the modified graphics engine Snowdrop Engine, which worked the original game.
Interestingly, despite the announcement of the new game, the authors are not going to stop supporting the game Tom Clancy's The Division. Ubisoft revealed that for the game will continue to go free content almost until the very release of the sequel. The developers themselves noted that gamers will have to wait "more years", but according to early announcements from the company, the new shooter should appear on sale until the end of 2020.
It is not yet known when and on what platforms the Division 2 will be released, but most likely, the project will appear on the PC, Xbox One and PS4, like most releases from Ubisoft. The developers promised to introduce the new game in detail at the E3 2018 this summer.
