Last week I went abroad to visit some friends for a few days. On Monday I returned back home. I had quite some time before my flight at Stansted airport so I decided to walk around outside for a bit to play some Pokémon GO and look for a way to access both nearby Gyms. I found a nice high place to take the next picture of the Yanma flying around which made for a nice shot.
When I went back into the airport my character was in some kind of fog. I don't really know what this is, but you can clearly see it in the next screenshot that there's a rectangle of some kind of fog there. Perhaps this makes more Pokémon spawn there? As I could see a lot of Pokémon spawns, especially around the few Pokéstops that were in the area.
In the top left corner you can see a Mystic Gym with a Metagross. That's one of the 2 Gyms that I found there and was able to access. My Metagross was all alone in that Gym as I had to take it over. The other Gym was already from Mystic with some free spots. That Gym is the Radisson Fountains Gym, it took me a while to find how to get there. As I was outside and saw a sign that said pedestrians weren't allowed that way as it was a road for buses. Then I found a way from inside the airport building that led underground to go to the parking area and I could use this to go straight ahead to go to the Radisson hotel.
From Stansted I flew to Dublin before I would fly back to Belgium. I had to be in a hurry to make sure to arrive at my gate in time in Dublin. So I didn't have time to really play Pokémon. Only managed managed to spin a Gym I passed by to get the Badge and then at my gate was another Gym that was already from team Mystic so I assigned a defending Pokémon there and queued at the gate. Once I arrived back in Belgium I saw that there was still one spot available in the Gym there, so I put my Jolteon in there as I saw a Vaporeon and Flareon already.
I found it pretty cool to be able to take a screenshot having 4 Pokémon defending Gyms in 3 different countries.
Does anyone know what that fog area means on the screenshot I took while I was inside Stansted airport?
