Going out for a Mewtwo raid. Turned into 6 Raids!

Today we planned to do a nearby Mewtwo Raid at like 17:30, so I went out in time to go to the Raid. I love this Gym especially as it's one of the EX-Raid eligibly Gyms in this city. The majority of the raiders actually came from another Raid in our city. I saw the messages for that one a bit too late, otherwise I might have done both of them too.

After the Raid was won and Mewtwo was caught we saw Lapras at a nearby Pokéstop. So three of us decided to go and catch it, as we are trying to get a better % IV Lapras. I was also planning to trade with one of them, as he was looking for several Pokémon and I had quite a few of those to trade. As we were walking back to go sit down somewhere we saw a level 5 Raid pop up in the local park which is also an EX-Raid eligible Gym. The other two often Raid much more than me, so one of them was jokingly telling the other that he would do the Raid too, but that guy was thinking about going home actually. Then he jokingly said the Gym where we were gonna sit down would get a Raid pop up too and that he would do them.

Once we sat down near that Gym the friend who was looking for some Pokémon and I prepared to start trading. He was looking mostly for the Kanto starters, Voltorb and Kabuto. I still had a few of those ready to trade. We also traded a few Lapras for Lapras to try and get a better one. For the Kanto starters etc he gave me Pokémon from 7km eggs so that we could increase our km distance from trades, which is what I wanted to. He gave me more Vulpix with those trades than I hatched from my own 7km eggs. It took me forever to get my first from one of the eggs. During the trades I got a Lucky Alolan Vulpix and later on an Alolan Geodude. That was really great!

While we were trading we saw a level 5 Raid egg pop up on another nearby Gym too and even later one showed up at the Gym we were sitting at. So this friend told our other friend that he was right about his prediction! Looks like he wouldn't be going home yet! I decided I would join all 3 of those Raids as well. After we finished trading I quickly went home to grab my power bank as my phone was running low and I didn't bring my power bank as I didn't except so many level 5 Raids to pop up after I was out. Luckily I live close to that Gym so it didn't take me long. Someone wrote about another level 5 Raid egg showing up at a Gym just outside the city center while I was going to get my powerbank.

When I was back with my powerbank the three of us went to the local park to meet up with a few others to do that Raid. During the Raid someone reported another level 5 egg just outside the city center near the other Gym. After the Raid at Wood Tree Sculpture, in the local park, we headed to PC Sint Amands Gym for the next Raid that was about to hatch in a few minutes. After we finished that one we headed back to the Gym called "De Werft" where we were sitting earlier.

One of the people who joined us for the Raids then took me and the friend with whom I was trading with him in the car to go to both Raids just outside the city center. Two people who didn't join us for the other 3 Raids did join us for those last 2 Raids. After those Raids he dropped me off in the city center close to home again and brought the other friend home too.

We had a lot of fun talking between the Raids and much laughter. None of us who did all the Raids managed to get a 100% IV, but one of us did get a 98% IV one which was a good improvement over his 93% IV one. So that was really good for him! :D I've had a great time doing all these Raids with them today! Rarely happens that we get so many level 5 Raids in our city at the same time. Sometimes we don't even get that many in a single day.

I was also able to catch all 6 of the Mewtwo from these Raids! It was unfortunate that the 2257 had that CP, if only the 5 and 7 had switched places xP I'll try to trade most or all of these over the next days for other Mewtwo. Due to them being Legendary they are Special Trades and you can only do one of those every day.

I definitely didn't expect to do 6 Mewtwo Raids when I headed out for a single Mewtwo Raid. I also ended up being gone for over 2 hours to do these Raids. Had a great time talking and laughing with everyone so that was really awesome! We were kinda glad that they were over though, as we were all getting hungry with it being 8 pm already after all the Raids. Would totally love to do this many Legendary Raids again sometime!
