Shiny Minun and Plusle enter the electric fields

For Pokémon GO fest this weekend Niantic has decided to release shiny Minun and Plusle in the game! I'm currently on vacation in Albania where I don't come across many Pokéstops currently. I've still been able to keep my daily streak going at least! With my Pokéballs I have to be careful as I can't get many new ones from Pokéstops currently. Luckily I get 10-20 gifts to open daily from the new friend system. This helps me have at least some more Pokéballs!

Yesterday I saw a spike of Minun and Plusle on the nearby radar of wild spawns. Indicating the Pokémon GO fest had begun. While we were heading to the city center I saw a few of them spawn on the way and one of those Minun was shiny! I was amazed to find one so soon. Especially as I wouldn't get as many spawns here as at home. Later during the day I found more Minun and Plusle. I only clicked them to see if they were shiny or not, as I didn't want to catch them to prevent draining my Pokéball stock

Today we were going to a new place to stay. On the way there I knew we'd pass one Pokéstop as I had seen it on Friday when we were in the area. That kept my daily streak going! Later on our drive I sometimes launched the game to see if any Pokémon would spawn and sometimes I was lucky to pass by at least one. After several Minun and Plusle the shiny Plusle from the picture above showed up!

I'm glad that I was able to find both Minun and Plusle shiny here on our vacation in Albania! Now I don't have to get lucky when I'm back home. And they both have Albania as capture location tag, which is really cool! Both Alolan Geodude and Diglett have spawned too

If I can I will try to make other blog posts while still here in Albania, depends on how much I'll be able to play
