Earlier this week on October 12th there was a special day with a highly increased spawn of female Pokémon. I didn't know about it until the day itself as I had not opened my app in the Eeveening on the 11th. If I did I would've already seen the notification then. It didn't prevent me from being able to catch some of these increased spawns though on the day itself!
Nidoran♀, Nidorina and Nidoqueen started showing up more frequently and sparked a greater appearance of more female Pokémon in the wild. Particularly female Pikachu, Clefairy and Wobbuffet.
With this special day the Shiny forms of Nidoran♀, Nidorina and Nidoqueen were added to the game! So this increased spawn of the Nidoran♀ evolution line gives us quite a chance to find a Shiny form of them.
On my 2 walks that day I caught several of their evolution line, including 2 Nidoqueen. None of them were Shiny for me, so it'll likely take a while to come across one now that they're not spawning as much anymore. I may one day come across it though!

During that day I also received a pop-up invite for an EX-Raid at the Houten Schip Gym in my city on October 16. This is my first EX-Raid invite for one of the Deoxys EX-Raids. It will be my 2nd Deoxys EX-Raid though as I received an invite through my brother's EX-Raid Pass for the first Deoxy EX-Raid in our city. So I'll share the Pass with my brother this time if he has time to attend.
