Two days ago I received the Johto Festival quest to evolve 3 Sunkern or Natu. I decided to keep it and see if I could get another one. Then yesterday I did indeed find another one of them in the city center. Since I got one on both days I thought it would be best to keep them until today. Which turns out to have been a great choice! As I found the quest again today.
For A Ripple In Time step 3 we need to Evolve a Sunkern or Gloom using a Sun Stone. So I evolved 2 Natu and then decided to evolve 1 Sunkern too so I could do the 3 "Evolve 3 Sunkern or Natu" and the one from A Ripple In Time all at the same time! As I never evolved a Sunkern before that means I would get Sunflora as a new Pokédex registry during the evolution!
If you remember from an older blog post about my first Lucky Pokémon, that's indeed the Sunkern I decided to evolve today for these quests! This way I have Sunflora as Lucky in my Pokédex immediately too with that first Pokédex registry.
The Evolve 3 Sunkern or Natu quest gives a Pineco as a reward. So after finishing the quests I decided to catch all 3 of those Pineco.
Unfortunately none of them were Shiny. I'm happy that I was able to combine all 3 quests with though so I could evolve just 3 to finish the quest instead of having to evolve 9 Sunkern or Natu. I don't even have enough candy combined to evolve 9 of them right now!
In the afternoon I went out for a raid and after the raid I noticed that there was a Togetic silhouette on my nearby radar. I only hatched a few Togepi out of my eggs so far. Enough to evolve one into Togetic, but I never did so yet. So I decided to go where the Togetic was supposed to be and try to catch it. It was a great succes!
In the Eeveening I went on a walk to spin some other quests before I would head to the gym we take over as a team. I came across someone who made plans with another person for an Absol raid and he asked me if I wanted to join them. Which would be in like 15 minutes. So I agreed to join them and told him I'd go spin some Pokéstops for quests and then head to the gym for the raid. Then I saw a Forretress near one of the Pokéstops I was going to spin, which I don't have yet either. I told him I'd go catch that one too then.
Here we have it. Caught the Forretress and added it to my Pokédex too. 3 new Pokédex registries in one day was really great. Sure I could've had all 3 of them already as I was able to evolve them since a while. But finding them in the wild to add them to the Pokédex is even better! :D The Absol raid went smooth, unfortunately once again not Shiny, still great to do though!
