Really excited for the new league to start in PoE. Only a few more days wait and I can dive in. I'm planning on playing an elementalist golem build, something I have tried previously. The build is getting a few buffs and I think most of it's shortcomings from before will be corrected in the new league. It seems like there will be a lot of different minion builds this league since most of the buffs are for minions. Guardian got a major overhaul and is encouraging a combat summoner style. Goolems got a new item that summons a ton of extra golems and gives them turbo speed. You can now craft more minion mods on rare gear. A few new minion gems are being released. So yeah lots of minion buffs.
The new league mechanic is an infinite dungeon that you will be able to progress through. It probably won't replace mapping but will be a great new addition to the overall grind. There will be some new ladders so racing to get the highest level is no longer the only competitive side of the game.
I can't wait until Friday to give the new league a shot, I've been itching for some PoE!
