The Division - Global Event Onslaught

A new global event started today in The Division. This event is called Onslaught and it seems like it's going to be fairly fun. Just like last event there are 4 classified gear sets to try and obtain as well as 3 masks you can unlock. I don't have full sets of any of the classified gear sets on offer this round so it looks like a great opportunity for me to finish them. All 4 sets sound pretty cool and I'd like to try and get them all. Last time I was only able to complete two of the four sets but I was starting from scratch while this time I already have a few pieces from each set.

The even itself focuses on rotating damage buffs burn, bleed and gas. Any time you reload it changes the effect type. On the higher difficulties, enemies become weak against one effect and resistant to the other two plus they do more damage if you are using a modifier they are resistant to. It's a neat mechanic and definitely more fun on the higher difficulties than the last global event.

The three masks aren't that great and all seem fairly easy to unlock. I've unlocked one so far and did it by accident. The other two should unlock easily just by playing the event.

I have two friends joining me this week and I'm hoping we make lots of progress and unlock a few gear sets.
