Before starting with the post, I must say that although I did not have this console and I only played some times in it in places where you rented it for time, I have an immense affection and I hope to get one very soon to be able to enjoy quality games that we offered

1- DID YOU KNOW THAT THE MEMORY CARD OF THE SEGA WAS ALSO A MINICONSOLA?

This memory card allowed us to continue with minigames of the games saved in it and thus to be able to enjoy several little games in any place that also gave you some advantages at the time of connecting it again to the console and to resume a game since by advancing in the minigames you unlocked new elements in the console game. WOW would like to have one right now ;)

2-DID YOU KNOW THERE WAS A GAME RELEASED FOR DREAMCAST THAT POSSESSED A HIDDEN CODE.

if as you read it there was a title that was released for the SEGA DREAMCAST called SEGA SMASH PACK VOLUME 1 that compiled 7 games emblem of the MEGA DRIVE but had a hidden code with a text called echelon, which taught you how to pirate MEGA DRIVE games in the DREAMCAST.
INTERESTING UMMM CAMOUFLAGED PIRACY .

3-WISE YOU COULD HEAR HIDDEN MESSAGES IN THE GD-ROM

If you don't know what a GD-ROM is, I'll explain it's a cd but created exclusively for the SEGA DREAMCAST.
This was developed in order to combat piracy and was an exclusive version that only recognized the lens of the DREAMCAST, so if you put it in any other CD player gave you an audio message that warned that "this disc can only be played in a SEGA DREAMCAST can cause serious damage to a different computer".
THAN INGENUITY ON THE PART OF SEGA.

4-DID YOU KNOW YOU COULD SEND E-MAILS FROM THE SECOND DREAMCAST

This console was very eccentric, as it was a video game console with its own modem allows you to enjoy some titles online (something also very new for the time of 1999) that modem allows you to send mail as in a pc something very normal now but advanced in those times.
THE DREAMCAST SEGA AHEAD OF ITS TIME?

Sega Master system was my very first console as a kid, never had a dream cast, I played a friends when I was young, never really seemed to take off in Australia. Shame really, like you said ahead of it's time... I was a Sega kid over Nintendo!

I post reminded me of going to Sega world in Sydney as a kid.
