The more I play the two platforms the more I realize the similarities. People are looking for a direct answer when it comes to this debate but that goal is completely unreachable. The answer to the question of Pc VS Console really comes down to you as a person. I have played console since I can remember. PS1 and the N64 were my firsts. I have been playing pc for 2-3 years now as well. I have every "popular" game you can imagine. And over the many, hours I have spent farming for resources in RUST, slaying covenant in Halo, or showing my friends who's boss in FPS games. I have come to the simple conclusion that one is no better than the other. Sure, you can spend thousands upon thousands of dollars making an untouchable PC. One that no other platform, whether it be console or a fellow Pc, could even come close to. Realistically though, your average player really does not have the time, nor the money, to partake on that journey. They want to play. Consoles add the ability to just pick up a controller and a disk and begin pwning some noobs.
Something to seriously think about is your friends' platform preference. I do not care who you are, playing with friends is 10x times more enjoyable. It makes game play easier and you get bored so much slower. For a long time I had no PC friends. I really didn't enjoy playing that much but I continued to play until I gained friends. That's something else to think about, getting a new friendbase. It's great to meet someone new that has the same game interests as you. Steam, Xbox live, and PSN all allow this to be done. Another massive thing to take into consideration is the build time on a PC. It is extremely rewarding and wonderfully fun to build a PC with your friends/family or even by yourself. Still though, some people are impatient, or just don't want to partake into that, whether it be something they don't think they will enjoy or they have other reasons. Finishing this, that is why I believe the main differences between the two is your friends choices, ease of play, and whether you're looking to get into the sport of pc building.
Please do not be shy, follow, comment, find me on other social media platforms, or tell me what you want to see more of. Im very open for new ideas, hobbies, and people
And until next time your captain Cruz signing off. Salutations
I agree playin' with friends brings the best epxerience ! I really don't care pc or console, if it's fun playing it, I don't need to choose which is better :)
