Shoutout for Spyro and Crash Bandicoot!! I used to play those at my friends house. (She’s my wife now haha) I know what you mean about games instantly transporting you back to childhood. A few that do that for me are:

Hands down my favorite game of all time.

This one was a lot of fun, but the original timing mechanism in the game was sometimes frustrating.
I played quite a few others for the n64 but those were my favorites. Thanks for the nostalgia!
