Destiny 2: Creating the Sentinel Titan Subclass

IGN recently interviewed Bungie about Destiny 2. In this interview they explain the Sentinel Titan subclass in further detail.

Key points from the interview

• Main weapon is a shield which the Sentinel Titan is able to fling at enemies captain America style. The shield will bash and bounce trough all enemies in it's path, leaving a cool lighting effect in it's path for easier monitoring of the shield.

• New super void ability. Basically a revamp from Destiny 1's ability Shoulder Charge, now called Shield Bash. This is the first void super ability where you can run around and cause havoc and not just be stationary.

• The Sentinel Titan can deploy a bubble shield around him and his allies. They tried to focus on the communication between the player and the bubbles health. The bubble will at first after deployment be pristine, getting more and more deteriorated as it takes damage. This will show clearly trough particles of the shield getting agitated, holes in the shield etc.
