There last only 3 days left for the official presentation by Microsoft of Project Scorpio, which will be the successor console of Xbox One, and little by little they are presenting and filtering news about it.
The latest news has come from the hand of his vice president Mike Ybarra, through his official account on Twitter.
Initially it was known that the console would have a total of 12GB GDDR5 of which 4GB would be reserved for its own system. With the new information revealed, it is confirmed that the developers will be able to have 1GB extra, which in total will be 9GB which can be used for games. We remember that the Xbox One also reserves 3GB for the system, so Microsoft engineers have managed to run the Scorpio dashboard with the same amount of reserved RAM, yes, in 4K native.
In case these 9GB are not needed, the system will use the remaining memory as a system cache, which is expected to be a general optimization affecting all games, including Xbox 360 and Xbox One, which will also be backwards compatible in the Scorpio.
As a preview of the official E3 presentation, Microsoft has released some teasers that you can watch on their YouTube channel
Some have already started looking for hidden information in these teasers and already take their own theories about it.
We hope to receive all the details of the new Microsoft console in its official presentation at E3, which I remind you will be this Sunday day 11 June at 2:00 pm PDT.
