Last Sunday, I put together my own course in Golf It! and shared it with the Steam community at large. If you're not familiar with Golf It!, the game relies very heavily on user generated content. People create custom golf courses all the time. There are youtubers who make videos playing said courses. They're tons of fun. And now I've made my own!
It's called "Nezumi Temple," and it's got a bit of history behind the concept. Back in the olden days of yore, there were maps known as "rats" maps. They would take a mundane place like a bedroom or a kitchen or something similar and make the players super tiny. It was mainly first person shooters, but the concept is a ton of fun.
I designed this one around the concept of an east asian temple. The assets they provide are...well, they're very stereotyped, but I was able to put together something that worked. It's kinda fun to see the whole thing come together, you know?
Of course we're up in the rafters! Why wouldn't we be?
You can download the course here. The game can be found here, and it's not particularly expensive! I like it, and I think it's tons of fun to play. Hell, I need to stream some more Golf It! again. Get Pac involved, a couple other friends, it'll be fun!
