It’s been another fast paced and exciting week here at Decentraland!
In this update, we’ll give you a rundown of our recent blog posts and explore what’s been happening in the Decentraland community.
Finally, we have some updates about upcoming offline events, and we’ll answer a few of the most common questions from the week.
The latest from our blog
SDK Highlight: Building an Underwater Landscape
Are you interested in what others are building with the SDK? Check out our latest blog post showcasing a dynamic underwater scene built by two of our very own team members: Martin Shibuya and Juan Cazala!
They teamed up to create a colorful underwater scene that’s home to a school of fish constantly pursued by a big shark! Read the full blog post to learn about Juan’s approach to writing scripts for the SDK, and Martin’s use of Blender to create models and textures.

Developers are continuing to produce some excellent content with the the alpha SDK.
Our “Pic of the Week” comes from a user named acl_crypto. They’ve built an interactive tower, complete with elevators that can take players up to a crypto-collectables gallery.
Keep posting your creations, and please feel free to share them with the community by including the hashtag BUIDL.
FAQs
Here are a couple of answers to the most common questions this week:
Q: “We need more detailed documentation and some nice SDK video tutorials to get things started. When can we expect that?”
A: “We are currently working on improving the onboarding experience for developers new to our platform. More docs, examples, and tutorials are coming soon. Keep an eye on our blog, and docs site for upcoming developer-focused content.”
Q: “Will we be able to rent LAND in Decentraland?”
A: “This week we are releasing an update making it possible for LAND owners to grant control of the content of their parcel to another user. However, we currently don't have any infrastructure set up to request and collect renting fees in a way that protects the leaser and the renter.”
District Updates
We are always excited to hear news from our Community Districts. The concept artwork for the Fashion Street District is looking fantastic (check out the fashion-street channel in Discord).
Festival Land joined The Conference Centre this week in opening up their district startup plan to a vote for contributors approval.
A quick reminder to anybody who has made LAND contributions to a district, please make sure that you provide your contact info to your District Leader!
Finally, all of the District leaders have been discussing how to move forward with the development, management, and governance of their communities. To aid this effort, we are building a decentralized voting platform allowing district members to vote on important issues -- if you want to take part in these decisions, please make sure that your district leaders are able to get in touch with you. Thank you.
That’s all for this week.
See you in the Metaverse!

Don't worry. This has been sorted with @buildawhale. Maishunheng is a known spammer and plagiarist. Decentraland is NOT on a blacklist.
