Captain's Log - MS Ixania - Stardate 3304/02/10
This is CMDR Askon Voidborn. If you are reading this, I may not be alive anymore or at least be stranded in a pod, doomed to freeze once my escape pods energy runs out...
But before I may be go missing, I shall make this extra logbook of what may well be my last day. So here we go.
Fortuna kinda granted me my wish of stumbeling upon interesting things today, but I shall keep my first few hours brief, since they are not the reason why I record this.
My day began so innocent, after recording my lobbook of yesterday's event, I headed off for another swoop around the Nebula. After fining some boring ammonia world, this beautiful pair of waterworlds smiled at me.
But my streak of luck didn't end there and I'm glad that I got to see this reminder of home, if I find my grave today. After that I made a few more jumps, hoping for a geyser and took the first opportunity when my scanner picked up a planet with volcanic activity.
After following a promising signal on my radar, this sight opend before me after crossing a hill. I was shocked and had a flashback to my last encounter with a ship wreck not so far away. I found two Escape Pods, which I couldn't take with me, but also a bit of cargo: Personal Weapons and Nacrotics? Once again there was no blackbox, to get information about the ship or its passangers. Yet I wondered how a smuggler got out here. I marked the coordinates, something me and my partner forgot the last time, due to our shock. They are: 18.3364° , 2.3713° on PRIELUIA SH-N B20-19 A1.
Since I was looking for geysers, I decided to try my luck on the other side of the planet. And this is what I found:
Another crashed ship, the third one within less than a 300 Ly out here in the middle of nowhere 8k Ly away from Sol and almost the same distance from the closest outpost of the Colonia Highway, if the data in my ship computer is correct. What is going on? It appears to be another smuggler carrying personal weapons and nacrotics.
Where could they be headed and how did they end up here? At this point I decided to skip the planet and try my luck for geysers on another planet in that system. So I headed out and got to PRIELUIA SH-N B20-19 A 9 A. I got down and after following another promising signal, this turned up:
What? How? Yeah that was pretty much my impression. I scanned it, but only recieved some cryptic data, that my system recommended me to turn over to the Federation. But how did a satellite ended up out here. I picked up another signal, followed it again, as a small black dot appeared in the distance before me:
At this point this cannot be a coincedence anymore. First those ships that mysteriously crashed here and then 2 satellites. Something is here. Something is not right. I feel my heart beating in my chest. I'm constantly checking for contacts and scans. After I got the fuck out of there, I decided to continue my scan for the system and check if I can get behind this mystery. If I survive till my next log, I will report my findings there.
CMDR Askon Voidborn Out.
