I just got first place in one of those Starcraft 2 ingame tournament against others according to your rank.
Sure, it's a Silver tournament, but I'm still pretty proud! I've always been bad at RTS, so this is quite a feat to me. Now I'm working my way up to Gold. Last time I tried to play - 4 years ago - people just stomped me over and over until I gave up because for some reason I got placed Gold. That sucked.
Usually newbies evolve by watching pro replays and trying build orders we look up online, but I think my build order is pretty good, maybe because I've been doing it every game. I've been perfecting it for 20 games now.
Well, that's not a lot of matches, sure, but for someone who just started playing SC2, it's alright. I want to get Gold and beat a few Gold players just so I know I can evolve in this game now.
