What do I know about this game? Almost nothing, except it's supposed to be hardcore. But I will survive.

First impressions
So you have a meat dude, a princessy thingy and a bad guy. He kidnaps the princessy thingy at the end of every level which makes this a "she's in another castle" on steroids. Mario would feel better about his life if he played this game.
Physics are out of control! It makes you go fast, and it's surprising how friction works... But maybe it's just me not being used to air friction after playing Mega Man 1. It all fits the package, though.
The art style is really attracting. Simple and intuitive. You can easily tell what kills you and what doesn't. The various warpzone levels are candy to retro gamers like me. All in all, it's visually superb for a game like this.
Chapter 1 is simple enough, but it's a ton of fun. I know I'm just getting started, though. The boss was great, check me out getting away from it (after a few tries) on the video further below. There is even a moral of the story in it's ending: you won't weep for the dead if you're dead too.

Watch my playthrough below where I only take 30 seconds to finish each level on average! It won't bore you. Except for the beginning when I'm still learning the controls.
It's always refreshing to see someone gradually get better at a very difficult game. Seeing you play this, makes me wanna go back and finish my 100% run. I just need one more achievement to do it. I don't recommend that you do it because it's pure hell [lol]. There's also a dark world too, it's pretty much the same as the normal world, but harder.
