Heroes of Might and Magic 3 - Well, it’s that time of the year again, when I sink into a Heroes of Might and Magic game and come out only when I’ve had my fill. This time it’s Heroes of Might and Magic 3, the one that everyone loves, that one that is arguably the best in the series, and yet still manages to tick me off in a few ways.

I loved that game ! Played it to death, probably the game I've spent most hours on, aside from Sid Meier's Civilization I to IV series. Graphics were a bit cheesy, even for that time but the gameplay was superb.
The combination between the strategic "overland" level and the tactical "battle" level was extremely effective at getting one into a state of pure flow!
I was such a fan of New World Computing games than back in '97, upon visiting California, I dropped by their offices and met some guys. If I had any IT training at that time I would have given an arm to get hired in their studios !

i cant remember the amount of time i spent on that with my gf's brother o m g ex ... unstuck in time i think sometimes
or so they tell me, and i tell them they're too strict about it i'm not linear or digital im always all over the place
that was awesome stuff, before they became so drm-obsessed i stopped buying it

I use to spend hours and late nights finishing games, playing hot seat with friends until one of us passed out
