This is a first-person game where you have to avoid the enemy, usually the neighbor. In the original game you get to his house and you have to run before him and explore what is happening with him. The horror atmosphere helps to build uncertainty and free, unexpected situations. And this is the main problem that persists in addition - the absolute loss of the player and the illogical situation.
The extension called Hide & Seek has already taken the wrong foot in the first level. Together they will offer us five, the first being the weakest of all. We wake up in a dream world in which nothing is what it looks like. We are literally thrown into the surrealist world, where the word logic plays the third violin. Without guidance one is lost here. The rules that applied in the original game are used in some way, but in illogical, unnaturally folded levels they won't help.
The role of angry neighbor is taken over by a sibling in the costume of a tiger, and the things you have to look for and put in the basket are scattered all over. Your task is to collect all the necessary items. In the first level they are animals. Avoiding your brother is commonplace. In the game you can turn on the hints and the procedure to simplify, but it does not prevent one great frustration, but especially nude. The game mechanism created for Hello Neighbor could work in the original game. It had more of a logic and a better atmosphere.
In each level, solve puzzles, or discover ways to get further. Break-through surveys are the norm. For example, you have to tell yourself that if you end up in a big bucket, you must use the command to return to the top of the level so that you do not get into the day of the court.
Other levels are somewhat better and different environments are changing, from snowy cemetery, through the burning suburbs, to the night bank robbery in your city. At these levels, the situation is considerably better than at the first level, which needs to be overreacted. However, the gamblers fail all. It is possible that within the community play on Youtube or on Twitch, the situation is different and it is fun to watch the live recording and possibly advise the player what to do. But when playing solo, the game is suffering and I see no reason to reach for this game.
The musical accompaniment goes in the footsteps of the original game and it has not happened to me that I have simply switched off the sounds. These are annoying sounds that are solved without technical problems, but I simply didn't need them to play. Similar information can be given about the graphics - technically mastered, but not dazzling and not original. The biggest reservations I have about the price of the game, which is not kept low and for this achievement is not worth sacrificing tens of euros ..
The original Hello Neighbor game has its qualities and fans in particular. The secret multiplayer title derived from it also offers some fun, but this separate addition is a step by step. He barely retains the attention of the players and decides not to fool the videos.
