With all the excitement and grind from Destiny 2 over the last couple of weeks, the latest Call of Duty DLC went below my radar! This is what concerns me about all the upcoming game releases as it will limit the time to explore all of the games fully. The final DLC for this Call of Duty game was release on August 27th for the Playstation given its 30 day exclusivity agreement. It will include the typical addition of three new multiplayer maps, a new war operation call Operation Arcane and the final Zombie installment called Frozen Dawn. Earlier in the week, the developer Sledgehammer Games also deployed a new patch which added a new division and new guns for use.
Given the end of the competitive season with Call of Duty Champs a couple of weeks ago, I would think that the player base is just waiting for the new game to be released. Given that we have also had the beta for the upcoming Black Ops 4 game and the expectation of the Battle Royale version, Blackout coming in a few weeks, I am not sure how the community will engage with this latest DLC. In my case, I imagine that the squad would try it out but with the latest update from Destiny 2 here and the preparation for Forsaken, I know where my time will be mostly focused.
I just hope the new Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 continues its great development for a great new year of Call of Duty that is very much needed given this last year of WWII.
