Destiny 2: After Some Challenges, Got the Wish Ender Exotic Bow

Destiny 2 continues to evolve and provide the players of the game more content. Whereas players in the past thirsted for more content, I find myself overwhelmed with the daunting list of tasks to complete. What makes it challenging is that some seem to be timed which give players a limit of time, most times a week, to complete. In addition, they have made most of these tasks also difficult to complete as they are end game activities which require not only teams to complete but the players attempting them to also be leveled up with powerful gear.

While I find it frustrating at times, I have been welcoming the challenge while realizing that I know longer have the time to get everything. I have accepted it but it also has made me feel pressured to focus on certain items. A good example is that over two weeks after the raid has launched, and I and most of my team have not completed a single encounter! However, we did focus this past week to complete the Shattered Throne dungeon and the quest for the Wish Ender Exotic bow. This was an achievement considering that none of us were over 570 power level with enemies being 590. The pressure was on as there were comments that after the weekly reset, the dungeon will no longer be available until the “corruption” cycle of the Dreaming City location was done again. So with hours to spare most of the clan members completed the quest.

It is truly amazing how the addition of content is making the Forsaken experience so much more engaging. However, it will be interesting to see if this cycled approach will engage players long enough for the established content. Unless there is more to come, it may be a challenge given the schedule of game releases on the horizon. My team has enjoyed the approach and given that we still have the Last Wish Raid ahead of us, I think we will definitely be engaged for some time.
