It was a massive night of celebration for the medium, for both Triple A and Independent developers, with entries from both sides of the industry getting congratulations from the BAFTA selection team.
Here's Giant Sparrow, the Developers of What Remains of Edith Finch taking the Best Game Award home.

Blizzard's Overwatch, the winner of BAFTA's 2017 Best Multiplayer award has taken home the Best Evolving game for 2018. No surprises here, but it's great to see the game congratulated for persisting with an update model that doesn't inhibit and leave behind players.
Nintendo's Super Mario Odyssey picked up two awards, including Best Family Game and Best Game Design. Odyssey is the latest edition the 3D platforming franchise, and has demonstrated what consumers can expect from Triple A entries into the genre.
Here's Nintendo Entertainment Accepting the Award.
What's particularly interesting about the BAFTA awards is how they diversify the winners pool with both Triple A and Independent developers. This year, 12 of the 16 Awards belonged to Independent entries, with similar diversity in previous years ceremonies.
A massive congratulations to the winners - it was a terrific year for the industry.
Hellblade just stole the show....amazing

"Where's the BAFTA? Oh, you got it." lmao.
"Audio Achievement" is perfect for Hellblade, imo. And "Game Beyond Entertainment" too because, well, the game is giving you a real life experience (mental condition) that you wouldn't want to have.
