As I said - I see your point/s
And yes I'm a moralist - I just don't think that posting a 30 minute long video commentary and that adding 2 small paragraphs of text is enough of a contribution of your own content.
I'm doing let'splays as well on my private channel - nothing against those - that's something you put in a lot of work into.
Response videos are the same - Unless it's a video where you play the whole video of the other guy and then say 4 sentences. That's just not enough.
Same applies here.
Well the resteem feature is 100% identical to this post. Are you against resteeming content. I literally resteemed his post.

No.
Resteeming doesn't give me (or you) any sort of monetary profit.
If this was reddit, facebook or twitter - your post would be absolutely fine.
But since here you get money of the posts you make, that completely changes the situation.

I think you do actually get a small cut of profits when you resteem by the way. Also upvotes also can reward you as well. And TotalBiscuit still gets the ad revenue from sharing the post. Also its objectively untrue that you gain nothing from posting on reddit, twitter and facebook. Reddits karma is worth real world money.

Yes - upvotes give you curation rewards - no doubt. And the few hundrets of a cent he will get of the few dozen views (at max) steemit will bring to his video are nothing to the possible rewards you could get from this.

Resteeming can attract more people too me which raises my future profits by a large amount actually. Its the same logic for reddit, twitter and facebook. actually.
Reddit karma is worth real world money to people who know how to sell accounts.
I know a lot of people who make a living by networking on Facebook and Twitter. Having a following on any social media has a substantial monitary value to it.
The corporations that own reddit, twitter and Facebook profit off of shared content. So your argument about this being different on those platforms is objectively false. In those cases its actually even worse because the person who posted the content isn't even earning profit, a third party who owns the page does. Post a video on Facebook can earn Facebook thousands of dollars.
By your logic aggregation is morally wrong which is objectively false. A huge aspect of the internet is aggregation. I cited the original author in the tittle.
By your logic YOU SHOULD NOT be doing lets play videos. You are stealing from the game developers. Making video games takes years and years of effort and your 8 - 12 minute video can make you far more profit than the devs made for that same amount of time. Delete all of your lets plays right now you self proclaimed thief.
Seriously YOU CANNOT be doing lets plays if you think my two paragraphs was insufficient content for a 30 minute video. As a game developer who has worked countless hours on making game content, I demand you take your lets play videos down.
Or you can admit your moralist argument is pretty weak and get over yourself.

Man I can see you're angry - that totally wasn't my intention - sorry about that.
I guess we just can't agree on this one. I have my point of view and you have yours. And that's fine.
Cheers and happy Steeming - wish you luck with your future posts and lots of profit.

Take your lets play videos down. By your logic you are a thief. You also have to refute my other points.
How is it different to post a link on facebook, twitter and reddit when the only difference is WHO makes the money? Explain to me right now.

man - you obviously won't be willing to listen to my arguments.
And you proclaiming me a thief isn't an argument.
But here it goes:
Posting a link to most types of social media - the ones that aren't like steemit - doesn't provide YOU with any monetary gain. Yes it does for the corporations running them - but they aren't the ones who put the link there.
Here it's YOU making the money. That's the difference.
When it comes to let'splay - you inputted the time of playing the game into making the video - that's the work you did, not the developer.
