Hello!
I am little bored of new style of first person shooters, you don't have to use your brain, so i decided to show you my favorite list of old ones in this genre.
Half Life 1(1998)
This game is just masterpiece, very good story telling, even has two endings. It has online or local multiplayer for death match party, oh the memories.. I recently finished it again and it is still as good as it used to be, but it is little bit shorter than I remember. You will die and you will have to use your brain and this is not common today.
Doom (1993)
Fast, bloody and addicted. This oldie is first shooter I’ve ever played. Levels are like maze, so you will get lost sometimes. But you will enjoy it. And it is quite long for game old like this.
Call of Duty 2 (2005)
Good old COD, great campaign and awesome multiplayer, that I played for long, long time. Unlike the other two games, you can actually aim and it was something back then! :)

I loved Half-Life to bits, especially opposing factions.
Old Quake and Duke Nukem where great fun too!
I have a vague memories of one called HeXen as well which was First person.
some of those old shooters where so much fun.

My all-time favourite has to be Wolfenstein 3D, made by ID Software, the same team behind Doom, Quake and so on. You could play it on a basic PC, with those "blip blip" from the built-in speaker... But it was epic at the time ! This game is probably what started the whole thing about playing on a PC.

Hell, you could even "slice" enemy in half with shotgun shot!

Cod2 came out in 2005? For some reason it felt.older than that. That was an amazing game. The old mechwarrior games were some of my favorites. I guess.you could consider those fps games.
