Youtube Channel

in gaming •  7 years ago

I looked at your channel for a bit and noticed you mainly play multiplayer games and they are different games, personally I like that, but depending on your subscribers and their taste in games and content you either want to switch something up or keep going like your going for growth. I am no expert at this, I am just trying to give a legitimate opinion. You can be diverse and satisfy your subscribers that way or you can try to make videos about 1 game or maybe 2 to maybe catch a bigger audience. Your commentary is good and the gameplay is also good, and I saw you do father, son gameplay as well which I think is sweet. If you would want to catch my eye or others like me, you would make videos about more story driven games like for example Middle-earth, Fallout, The Witcher, and add your own commentary over the gameplay. That would be my cup of tea. Ok, to sum it up, you need to do science on this, if your aim is to make it big with youtube you have to think of something unique that would be interesting for people like myself to watch. There are so many channels out there like yours so it would be very hard to blow up, unless you have a golden voice or you are an e-sports professional. However if you do not want to make money with youtube and you're doing it to maybe build a community or for your own enjoyment, go ahead. By the way, if you haven't played Middle-earth and you want to after my post, then it is pretty bloody and you shouldn't play it with your son. Hope that helps, maybe even a little :). Cheers.

Thanks a lot for taking the time out of your day to check out my stuff, its hard to get anyone to take the time to actually give a proper review on my content and you've summed it up perfectly.

I genuinely already play and enjoy the games i record on my channel, i wont buy anything that im not interested in no matter how popular it is, i want it to show in my voice that i enjoy what i play. No fakeness. I havent had any feedback from any subscribers about games to play, my sub count is still low i dont get alot of comments. The most I've received are about my Diablo 3 videos that i record with my girlfriend which is great. Untill i start getting comments about other games i will continue to record the games i already do.
I dont think i could play many gear grinding games since my videos would end up longer than they already are, maybe i could for a stream since ive started to stream on youtube.
My sons only 9 so all games i play with him are strictly pg and games he already plays :D
Yes i get it, im a needle in a haystack, i wish i started my channel years ago like i wanted to, prior commitments and money prevented me from doing so. Im tryint to find something thatll make me stick out but i honestly dont know if there is anything, im just going to continue to be me and if it never goes anywhere then ill still be happy recording videos for myself and the few people that watch :D My son loves to watch the videos back so that makes me happy.

Thanks so much for your feedback, you're the first person who has given me the time of day, i cannot thank you enough :)

Hey man, no problem, you don't have to overthink things. As I said, it is hard to blow up, but if you like what you're doing then I am sure that with time your community will grow. I will actually subscribe to you, not because I want you to like me, but because I genuinely like your content, to be honest, I didn't notice any game that I don't like in your channel. My last tip would be to advertise your channel or your twitch stream if you decide to stream on platforms like reddit. Maybe it doesn't exactly fit the youtube case but I really like this quote from Bojack Horseman:

P.S I really like World of Warcraft, if you wanna make an episodic gameplay of it, I would definitely watch.

Ive never played World of Warcraft, Ill keep that in mind :D
Yes i've looked at forums like Reddit but Im not joined as my time is very limited and i dont want to just drop my stuff there and then leave without being involved in the community since i feel its a very community driven forum. But i may reconsider it in the future.
I really like that quote , it's spot on pal :)
And thanks alot im glad you enjoy the games i play, ive just started to stream Diablo 3 with my girlfriend on my channel in the past week, Im really enjoying it. Im not on twitch yet, I thought id focus streaming on youtube since im quite new so i can interact with the subscribers i do have. And its been nice getting to know them on my stream :D

I work long hours and have a family so i have to use my time wisely for recording and streaming. I record and edit a full weeks worth of videos in a few days and if i have spare time then i'll stream when the kids are in bed, although i can only stream for about an hour or so as i have to get up at 5 in the morning and need to go bed early lol.
Living the dream :D
Thanks for all your help, im enjoying talking with you.

I enjoyed giving my opinion :d, do you dropping your stream link? Or if you're streaming on youtube then don't. Glad to help.

Its highly valued my friend :)
What do you mean by do i dropping my steam link? or dont if i stream on youtube, i dont understand.

sorry for the really really late respones, i did not notice my mistake. I meant if you were streaming on twitch would you mind dropping your twitch link. If you stream on youtube then I don't need a link cause I already found your youtube

Haha no worries mate. I haven't actually streamed on Twitch yet since I don't stream very often. I want to stream more but genuinely don't have the time along side recording my videos.

alright m8
