After rumors of the card surfaced over the last several months, Nvidia confirmed on Thursday, October 26, that the GeForce GTX 1070 Ti graphics card will be available worldwide on November 2 starting at $449.
This puts the Pascal-based card in the prime spot between the GTX 1080 and GTX 1070 in terms of pricing. However, it unfortunately means we will have to wait a little longer for definitive performance benchmark results.
The GTX 1070 Ti features 2,432 CUDA cores - entailing 152 texture units, and 64 ROPS. This is only 128 cores less than the GTX 1080,essentially a single streaming multiprocessor (SM) block removed from the full-fat GP104 GPU. The GTX 1070 Ti will feature 8GB of GDDR5 memory, running at 8Gbps speeds for a total bandwidth of 256GB/s.
