Steam Roundup #1

in gaming •  7 years ago

Hey, welcome to a new little series I'm gonna be doing on here called Steam Roundup.

As some will know, Steam is rather infamous for being completely and utterly clogged full of shit games. The point of this series is to grab a shovel and dig through the garbage to find a few smaller, promising looking games that people may like the look of. This is not me reviewing the games, I have not played any of the games I show off here, I simply think they look good based on pictures, trailers, feedback from comments.

First, let's start with the first game; Let Them Come

This game doesn't seem overly popular, and judging by the art style, feedback and regular updates from the Developer, that's a shame. Reviwers have given it scores between 8-9 out of 10, pretty high praises. So, there's the first game, click the link to find out more. It's also on sale now, so grab it while it's cheap!

Game number two: Last Beserker: Endless War

http://store.steampowered.com/app/722890/Last_Berserker__Endless_War/

While the last game was a stationary tower defense game, this upcoming game by Hakan Tatar claims to be an endless hack and slash game. You choose between 30 different soldier types and engage in a last stand scenario, fighting off endless hordes of enemies to see how long you can last. Sounds like a fun, simple little game. Again, it holds a pixel art style.
Now, there aren't any reviews on this game yet as it isn't out, so feel free to wait until it launches to properly check it out.

Those are two games to look at on Steam, hope you catch something you might like.

This is a great idea! But it really would be more interesting and valuable if you did try playing them. (And I imagine there are plenty of games out there so cheap you could make your money back after just a handful of upvotes, hah..)

I do plan on playing them further down the line, the idea was to save up cash from some early posts and use that to buy some games to test out, then rinse and repeat

That makes sense! I look forward to seeing more, then!

Nice post i follow u and like
