I've got a sudden thing for pixel graphic games, they're simple, but some of them are done just -so well!- and they work great on low-end laptops xD

That does look amazing.
The only EA games I won't go near anymore are ones not far enough along that you can't play the daylights out of them. Some of them feel like a fully released game so it's like getting free content updates if the dev still feels it's not good enough.

That's a good perspective to have on early access titles! :)
I also like going through the discussions page and the reviews to see how things are going. The main reason I haven't bought into the Guild 3 early access. Apparently it's going terribly.
In this case, the developers are very active, engaging with the community on all fronts, they have a solid roadmap with things they've completed and things left to go, they update frequently both the game branches and general communication. Super impressed!
