Today I wanna Review First Person Shooter game, was released in 2011, Hard Reset. Has anyone played this Game? if not, please refer to my review, Happy reading :)

Hard Reset does not require special skills, such as leading troops and thinking of tactics to defeat the enemy. This game just asks you to nimbly dodge enemy attacks, move the mouse to target enemies, and shoot them until it wakes up again. Simple is not it? To make the atmosphere more fun, this game also includes a beautiful graphical display and the world of future themed. Does this kind of game fit your taste? If so, follow this review to find out what you will find in Hard Reset.

The theme used in this game is a war against a robotic army in a future city called Bezoar City. At that time, humans are in a state of war against robotic forces that rebel from human control. The hero you will control is a member of the Bezoar town security forces named Fletcher. As the story is brought to you in a unique comic-drawing style, serious problems arise. Apparently, the robot forces made it into the city and began killing people. Call this task also which became the beginning of your trip on Hard Reset.

Based on the theme of the story in this game, the enemy you will face is a robot that attacks the city. Unfortunately, the type of robot you will encounter is not so varied. By size, the robot enemy you meet is divided into three, namely small, medium, and large. Small robots are only divided into three types, the robot with a saw on the front, a robot armed with propellers, and around the robot that can blow themselves up. As for medium-sized robots, they are shaped like humans and only one type only. Their difference comes only from the color and way of attacking. Some attack by hitting, shooting with machine guns, and launching rockets from afar.

The last type of robot is a large one. Just like the type of robot medium, this robot also only consists of one form only. So also with the color difference and how to attack him. Of all the types of robots available, large robots are the most dangerous. The reason, they will run towards you and always try to corner into the wall. When you have succeeded they turn it like this, then you just wait for screen game over the course.

Attacks from enemies you face are very violent. Moreover, they always attack with a sufficient number of troops. So you have to finish them off as soon as you get close. In fact, they are also able to attack from different directions. So, when you are busy attacking the enemy that is in front, do not be surprised if other enemies have surrounded you from the side and back. Therefore, it is advisable to drag enemies into a narrow street that does not access much.

What happens if they manage to attack you? Usually, the game over screen will appear. How come? Their attacks are so fast and have great destructive power! Even on the Normal difficulty level though. On the higher difficulty level (there are still two levels above normal), the number of enemies present will be more and more! Why do the characters you use die so quickly? Is there no defense like in other FPS games, like Armor and Shield?

Your character does have a Shield that can grow on its own when not attacked. However, it can be said that the shield is useless. How did it happen? Usually, the shield must be discharged first before the enemy attack begins to finish off the character's health value right? Not in this game! When exposed to attack, your shield and health value will go down simultaneously. Apparently, any damage inflicted on the enemy will be shared to the shield and health! In fact, the value of your health cannot grow on its own like a shield! To add value to arms health and ammunition, you must take a restoration object (power up) in the game area.

Enemies in this game also do not have a vital point area that can make it quickly die, such as shooting heads in other FPS. You can indeed shoot body parts on large robots. However, it did not really affect the speed of killing him. One of the most powerful ways is to use big guns, like Rocket Launcher and Rail Gun.

The type of weapon you can use in this game is basically divided into two. First, you can use weapons that use projectile cartridges, such as machine guns, shotguns, grenade launchers, and Rocket Propelled Gun. The second type of weapon is electrically based weapons, such as Plasma Rifle, Shock Blaster, Electric Mortar, Railgun, and Smartgun. Bullets used for both types of weapons are different. However, for all weapons of the same type use only one type of bullet only. In addition, you also do not have to worry about reloading weapons. So you can shoot until the bullet runs out (especially for weapons with high attack speed).

Initially, you can only use Assault Rifle and Plasma Rifle only. To increase the number of weapons collection, you must collect points in the form of a yellow power-up called nano point. After collecting a number of nano points, the indicator on the left of the game screen will indicate the availability of upgrades. After that, you simply come to the upgrade terminal that can be easily found. At this terminal, you can use upgrade points to buy new weapons, upgrade weapons with two new functions, and purchase new body capabilities. Body capabilities that you can buy include an increase in Shield (which adds only 20 points from the existing 100 points), improved health (same as Shield), increases the number of shells that can be carried, the ability to slow down time on the verge of death, and radar forsee the enemy position.

Upgrading a weapon is important. The increase in addition to providing greater crushing power also adds new functionality in the weapon. For example, you can fire the explosives to stop the enemy's movements, get them pushed back, and see the enemy from behind the wall. Likewise with upgrades beyond weapon function. You can create a faster shield regeneration, the power-up you take to be higher in value (faster fill health and bullets), and increase the body's resistance when it will die.

Attack of your weapon is powerful enough to kill the enemy. However, the main star of this game is the ability to use objects around to finish off the enemy. Things you should look at our electrical outlets and vats containing explosives. The attack on this deadly object will instantly kill off the enemy that is within the radius of his explosion! In fact, you can easily kill large enemies if they can be lured into an explosion. In addition, explosives can also be used to find hidden areas that typically contain large nano points!

This game is fun when you play on the easiest difficulty level. However, it will be very difficult and can be frustrating at the level of difficulty on it. The gap in trouble is so great and it takes great patience when you see the game over screen so often. Plus the power of the projectile weapon is very far under the electric gun. Whenever we can advise, immediately upgrade Shock Blaster to finish off a small enemy and Railgun for medium and large enemies. Attack from Blaster can attack many enemies at once and Railgun has the tremendous strength (bigger than Rocket Launcher and can penetrate wall!).

Hard Reset is very fun to play thanks to the simple form of the game. However, it can turn into hell if you are not ready to face it and do not know what weapons are effective against certain types of enemies. Similarly, if you can not use the help of dangerous objects in the game area. Right now, you would expect to hit the reset button as loud as the name of the game (Hard Reset). In addition, the thing that is quite disappointing is the story that is not quality and not clear direction. The plus side is you can play this game back through EX Mode. In this mode, you start a new game with all the upgrades you've purchased!
