oh and about the loot crates, we need to solve the provblkem of printing up infinite loot crates with freakin crypto and maybe a solidatrity movement, educate people to necvr buy loot crates withouta SEAL of approval from some decentralzied company that CHECKS the FAIRNESS of the algorythm that picks winners and losers in the loot crates, maybe not an algorythm but just makes sure the slot machine settings are set to be fair ENOUGH to be at LEAST better than freakin vegas slot machine odds, i mean, we need to have some nintendo seal of approval to train people that yes this is a fair loot crate system or no this loot crate system does NOT have teh seal and so should not be played, cuz youll probly loose, like overwatch had with its TERRIBLE loot crates.. dunno if they fixed that but i only know from watchjingvideos of peopel making fun of jhow bad it was on youtube,
but yeah u guys cant get sucked into that shit . games need to have solidarity like the Polish, and band together, refuse to buy loot crates for the PEOPLE!

we have to make a finite amount of loot boxes, so the game designers cant just print up as many as they want like fiat paper money! l
and a agency for rating the fairness of loot crates in games to warn consumers
a solidarity movement to train gamers to stop PAYING for loot crates
use crypto currency to pay a few winners some money prizes in loot crates they pay to get, so that they can POSSIBLY on RARE occasions make their money back, at least then thers a CHANCE you could get ur money back!

Personally I don't like loot boxes.
I like getting things from bosses and in games normally and the old fashion way. Things being bought and having a chance to get better loot if you pay more for a more unique type of loot box is something that makes me leave the game.
I understand in some games that people want the easy way out. They prefer to play casually. That is ok-ish. Let them pay and give them max level or any similar thing. IMHO they lose a lot by not going through a normal game progression. I like the games for the story and for their various types of difficulty. I play games for that - to enjoy them.
I currently play EVE Online, where you can spend real money to get in game skills - but it doesn't give you real piloting skills with ships that are needed to do competitive pvp. If you buy the skills and the best equipment you won't automatically be the best pilot. You'll have advantage but if you suck at game - you'll lose your ship and equipment and implants when you lose that pvp.
Just my ranting thoughts about that. [sigh]

I think that when you make a game you should not let the gamers pay more for dlc or chararters like
EA is doing now with with Battlefront or EVE is doing. Or GTA, they keep making new great updates for free thats great. But all the vehicles are so expensive you have play for so many hours, or.... you need yo buy a shark card to get them all.

Eve became free to play and it's the 3rd day of new and improved free to play where alpha clones can do more. You can fly a lot of different ships and use all of the weapons for those ships effectively. Now alphas, the new free option clones, are competitive in pvp or pve as are paid omega clones.
They moved from their usual business model to this experiment of micro transactions and other things but it enabled them to make that step - and I think it's not too difficult to earn isk in eve (or I'm at that stage where it's not that difficult for me).
In eve you can do pretty much everything: create and build weapons, ships and equipment, mine, explore, trade, run cargo, run missions, run incursions, pvp, be a pirate, be a spy, be a mercenary and fight when paid. Sky's the limit. And when you learn how it's not difficult to make isk and feed your addiction.
Losing ship in eve hurts as it has real value and that gives me rush every time I'm in pvp unlike any other game. You lose that ship, all the equipment and to the victor goes the spoils - if they dropped. You can buy isk for real money but you don't gamble with a box where you can get a unique ship that is better. Those ships are player made and available to all to purchase (and in certain other circumstances if the ships are a tournament reward - their number is limited and their value is tremendous - but those ships are of no interest to the most players).
What's enough today is a simple frigate or cruiser to learn the ropes and they are most widely used ships, and they are destroyed the most.
What I'm trying to say is: you can buy skill points or ships or isk and it can be easier to you if you can afford - but you don't gamble. You get what you pay for. And your skills are worth nothing if you are not skilled in fitting and piloting your ship. You may have a little advantage to compensate for your slower reflexes and your reaction time and thinking process but the game is not pay to win (I never thought I'd say that). It helps if you have money, it will make it easier but it's not that win button.
Trying to condense it into one line: Paying for something doesn't bother me, but paying for a chance to get something does (especially if it is rigged - and guess what - it usually is).

I can show you how to make some isk easy (it takes time and some luck, but it's really easy). I could give you some pointers if you'd like.

I think that loot boxes are helpful sometimes but also annoying. If anyone plays Overwatch they would know what i'm talking about. You can get skins and stuff that only make you look good, then you can get stuff that can actually help you and in my opinion those are the best ones. The ones that make you look good don't really help you so they are kind of pointless, but then other people don't really like loot boxes at all they kind of just like to earn everything them self, but anyway thats just me point of view

My idea with a solution, mark ALL games containing randomised drops for real world value (aka money), as Mature.
I hate the argument that, "oh, in lootboxes you always get something, so it's not gambling". What kind of logic is that? Does that mean that casinos aren't gamling, since they give free drinks?
