Ultrawings PSVR Review and Steem Worldbuilding Chat

Ultrawings for the Playstation 4 Virtual Reality system is one of the best examples of what VR can achieve. You take hold of the stick in the cockpit of your very own aircraft. You grab the throttle and push forward, taking to the skies in a full 3D environment. The graphics are a bit simplistic and cartoony but it doesn't dampen the appeal of this game at all. The real joy comes from buzzing the treetops in ways you've never thought possible. Being able to move your head around the cockpit freely is absolutely brilliant and using your hands on realistic controls is even better. You're able to look where you want to go and manoeuver the plane in a way that suggests you're able to feel the pull of the g-force on your body.

In the first half of the video I discuss some of the aspects I like about the game and lament the small size of the game.
