The co-creator of Counter Strike is arrested for alleged sexual exploitation of children

Jess Cliffe is one of those responsible for one of the most successful shooters in history, Counter Strike.

The police of Seattle, United States, has arrested the co-creator of the popular first person shooter Counter Strike for alleged sexual exploitation of children.

The 36-year-old man will attend a hearing this week, given that the charges have not yet been filed, although the nature of the accusation would be images or videos of sexual abuse of infants.

From Valve, where Cliffe works, they deliver the following statements (via Kotaku):

We are still gathering details about exactly what happened. Reports suggest that he has been arrested for a felony, given that we have suspended him from his job until he knows more.
