Gaming has long been a hobby of mine and more recently i have gotten into more indie titles, Kingdom: Two Crowns is one of those titles and is the third installment in the series, the game was initially created by Thomas van den Berg and Marco Bancale with help from a publisher named Raw Fury in 2015 for the PC, after its success the game was ported over to consoles and then mobile.
Kingdom: Two Crowns is a side scroller with a pixel art aesthetic where the goal is to survive waves of enemies called Greeders by upgrading buildings and recruiting vagrants in to your ranks with the aim of eventually building a ship and moving on to a different area with each area getting progessively more difficult.
The game is simple and easy and can be very addicting, i have never played a game like this before and it almost feels like a new genre of game, the developers done a great job with this and fans have taking a real liking to their work and this was all done without the help of a big studio which makes it all the more impressive.
