7 Days to Die: The Tutorial: Episode 1

in gaming •  6 years ago

I love this game; I want you all to love it, too. It would be a lot more fun to have others to slay zombos with!! If after you watch all of the 7 Days to Die game play I am going to bombard you with over the coming weeks, months, you decide that you want to join in the fun, you will have this handy guide to refer to. This should help you at least navigate on your own and maybe slay a zombo or twenty.

Without further ado, I present:

Directional keys can be changed in Game Options.

The Map of Navezgane

The maps vary between Navezgane and the randomly generated maps, but you will always encounter the 5 terrain types, or biomes.

Snow
Desert
Wasteland
Burnt Forest
Pine Forest

I prefer spawning in in the desert or forest. The Wasteland is the worst place to spawn in, as you have to contend with feral zombies, zombie dogs, and landmines. Sometimes you cannot even go 3 blocks without blowing yourself up. Whenever I spawn in there, I travel to a more hospitable biome before beginning the basic survival challenges.
Note: The in-game map does not look like this; it will become visible as you travel.

I do not. I should though. I never really played FPS games before; mostly stuck to run and guns.
