Atom is a new postapocalyptic RPG heavy influenced by original Fallout games. Game right now is in early access phase on steam and you can get it for 15 euros. Game has been in development phase for 2 years now and new russian indie studio managed to raise over 30.000 dollars on Kickstarter. That is not too much money raised, but for a small studio like this, with this type of game, Atom can become a decent product. In this game the bombs fell and destroyed most of our civilization and in contrast of popular Fallout games set in NA, story of Atom is set in postapocalyptic Russia.

All game systems will feel familiar to every Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 veterans with gurps system in place and UI that actually looks like Fallout one. The game has improved graphics engine, so if you kinda feel disappointed where Bethesda took the Fallout franchise and you feel the need for some old school Fallout vibe, you can definitely give Atom a go. Personally I don't like early access games because they feel like glorified demos, I'll wait for the full version of the game somewhat next year for which I'm very intrigued. Before you jump into this one, there is one heavily underrated postapocalyptic RPG called Underrail you can check out.

Damn, looks good! With a budget of 30k and doing that, pretty awesome!

Yes, considering how much money they raised, one can only imagine how would game end if they raised millions.

This looks pretty well done, for a small studio. Even though I liked Fallout 3, NV, and 4, I never got around to the first 2 so this would be a good pick up when I have some more money for it!

Yes, I have a strong need to buy the early access, but I will hold it for now. I liked new Fallouts, but nothing beats originals, not even close, so you are in for a treat.

This looks pretty well done brother

very nice game info

Thank you for this preview. Sounds very interesting. Also the tip with Underrail is very good thanks for that. Have a nice evening ;)
