Blitzkrieg and Sudden Strike are RTS games set in World War 2. These games are known for their realistic warfare and tactical approach without base building. There is not to much different going on between Blitzkrieg and Sudden Strike, that is why I will mention both series today. Fun fact, the sequels of both games will come out later this year after many games released in the past. Sudden Strike is slightly more realistic if you compare the two series. Blitzkrieg 3 is in early access right now so you can check the game out if you have the itch.

Used to play Sudden Strike against a mate. Heaps of epic battles. And because there was no base building you would just get stuck in. Great game

Yeah when you would just fire from mortars blindly into fog of war hoping to clear some entrenched enemies. New Sudden Strike seems great. We shall see how it turns out..
