Vertically striped candies will break the cage, crush the white candy, and clear the jelly in in one burst. Always look for them in his level. You could have created a red one on your first move. Look at the third row from the top. You could move a red into the green spot to make a red vertical candy.

Thanks for the tips

You are missing some big moves. It appears you aren't planning 2 or 3 moves in advance.

Such as, in the title image above, the three red candies could be cleared vertically to allow the oranges to drop, create a striped candy and remove the licorice.

In this type of setting, you want to get horizontally striped candies down into the bottom rows as early as possible. Just one could have cleared all the licorice.

Thanks for the feedback appreciate it...I do get the stripped red candy to the bottom to clear, but definitely get what you are talking about.

Thanks for watching.

You did, I watched, but you needed a horizontally striped candy into the licorice row as early as possible.
You could have done so earlier by using the vertical striped candy to explode the horizontal striped candy.

This (type of) layer is a puzzle. It is essential to be planning several moves at once to achieve a goal.

Primary goal, get rid of the licorice. (In the image above) bring purples down to clear that purple licorice.

The higher levels are the same, you just have to do them in less moves, or a more intricate pattern.
