UK CSGO starting a new chapter!

Hello? Is it happening? Is UK Counterstrike finally hitting the big leagues?
When people think of Professional CounterStrike.. one of the last countries that tend to come to people's heads is the United Kingdom. They think of France, Sweeden, Denmark, and even Ukraine.

The United Kingdom has at times had the odd player playing for one of the more well-known teams, but apart from that, it's always been local tournaments or lower-ranking teams they have been a part of. But recently, that has changed. Fnatic which used to be a well-known Sweedish Org is now a London-based esports giant. It departed from some of its bigger known Swedish names such as Golden, JW, and Flusha earlier in the year in replacement for some British talent. Now the team consists of 2 remaining Swedish players (KRIMZ and Brollan) and 3 players from the UK (ALEX, mezii, and smooya) as well as a new Strategic Coach also from the UK (keita).

It's very exciting finally having some UK talent on such a well-known organization.
The team currently has a 12 match win streak since picking up their most recent player Smooya. This is very big and just watching the team fills me with confidence that we as a country can be up there with the best of others. Let's just hope that the team keeps growing and getting better together and we can see them as one of the top runners in the future!
Fnatic is currently Ranked 20th on the CS:GO World ranking according to HLTV but I can guarantee that will be an even lower number by the end of the month.

Hey, at least I now have a team I can finally cheer on with confidence!
