Not all of the content is new but it is definitely nostalgic as the first ever Raid from the Destiny universe returns; the Vault of Glass. This alone has me excited considering the hours played in that Raid which was a new experience for me as a console player. They will also bring back all of its weapons which were truly iconic from a community standpoint. In addition, they will have Raid Challenges added to the experience to potentially change it a bit.
They have also added new content with a new story, missions, weapons, and a new 6 player activity called Override. It seems like Override will be the weekly activity to progress the story of uniting us Guardians with a prior enemy to combine against the Vex. Seems a little repetitive from the last Season but many comments are that it is all leading up to a massive engagement between allies and enemies when the new expansion is released in 2022. The Season ends with the annual Solstice of Heroes event which is often interesting for a short period. Interesting times to engage in the game once again!
