I was surprised as the beginning of the game was very slow as it took over a year to release the second generation. However, it did come on the back of huge growth as the game achieved hundreds of millions of players. After they went through their growing pains, it seems as they took the blank canvas to innovate and release constant new content to players which have remain well engaged.
While I am no longer one of those players, I still play a bit given the nostalgia around the franchise. The incentives are no longer there for me considering the opportunities with #play2earn and Splinterlands but I like to see what is going on. In fact, I have already participated in one of these raids and got myself a new Legendary Pokemon for my Pokedex in order to continue to catch 'em all!
