Overwatch is one of the most famous video games currently in the community of players with a little over a year, competing directly against video games such as League Of Legends in countries like South Korea, where there are more active players and becoming the most played from that country.

Its game mechanic consists of six people per team, where we choose a hero with unique movements and abilities. The main objective is to work as a team either to attack or defend points, target escort, control and competitive mode. Recently they added new game modes like team combat.

Each hero has a specific role and are: Offensive, Defensive, Tank and Support with various maps and game modes. That make Overwatch one of the most beloved games in the community of players. And for me one of my favorites.

According to official figures on the same page of Overwatch exceeds 30 million players.

Symmetra literally doubles the reality. When manipulating constructions of hard light, it modifies the world as it wants it to be, with the hope of creating a perfect society.

After the Omnica Crisis, the Vishkar Corporation of South India began the laborious process of creating new self-sustainable cities to house the displaced population of the country. One of those cities, Utopia, was created with radical technology of hard light, which allowed its architects to give shape to the streets, public services and living spaces of the city in the blink of an eye.

After being identified as one of the few people capable of becoming a light-manipulating architect, the young Satya Vaswani was ripped out of extreme poverty and placed under the care of Vishkar's academy of architects to never return home. Isolated and alone in her new life, Satya immersed herself in her education and training. She quickly learned the applications of technology and was one of the best students in her class. Satya approached the manipulation of hard light in a different way than her colleagues, who preferred more procedural and mechanical constructions, and wove their constructions with the movements of the traditional dance of her native land.

Despite being one of the best architects of Utopia, the Vishkar Corporation saw a greater potential in Satya's abilities. After giving him the nickname of "Symmetra", Vishkar sent her on clandestine missions around the world to defend their corporate interests and expand their influence in other countries.

I'll start by saying that Symmetra's skills are a real nuisance in 1 vs 1 you'll always end up losing, especially if you're at a disadvantage against their turrets. Symmetra is considered a hero of support, but in my point of view is attacking, defending and support at the same time because their skills allow it contributing a lot to the team in attack and defense, in some cases you should not use this However, he always ends up contributing a lot to the team.

Its main weapon emits a short range beam that is directed automatically to the enemy in front or closest causing constant damage and that is increased while connected, but it is not the only way to shoot this weapon has 2 shooting modes; the first in my case with right click is a lightning at close range that is fixed in the enemy causing damage that increases in a distance of 7 meters with a capacity of 100 energy points and the second with left click is an energy ball that goes in a linear form that is thrown by the weapon which deals a lot of damage to the enemy. The recharge time of this weapon is essential since it is 1.8 seconds.

The first skill is a small but dangerous turret that can be placed on any surface by automatically shooting the enemy within a range of 10 meters affecting the speed of movement of the enemy and causing a constant damage of 30 points of life per second. You can place 6 turrets in different places and the reuse of each turret is 10 seconds however the enemy can destroy the turrets easily.

Symmetra's third ability is defensive but very efficient against long-range and short-range enemy as it projects a mobile shield that absorbs damage as it advances, with 1025 points of life with a movement speed of 5.5 meters per second covering one surface of 5 meters wide and a reuse of 10 seconds.

The special ability of Symmetra has the most advanced technology of all Overwatch since it can place a platform that can transport the allies in their current location connected to another platform located at the starting point of the team. Traveling is instant from your starting point to the battlefield allowing your team to return to combat in a matter of seconds. This transporter has a capacity of 6 trips a life of 50 points and a shield of 350 points, the duration of this ability is until it is destroyed or out of use.

This is the second part of Symmetra's special ability, since when your transporter is active this ability is also activated to generate more protection for your allied team in a 50 meter area. This skill shares the same requirements as the transporter.

I use very little to Symmetra everything must be reflected to the hatred I have for this heroine in Overwatch, however, using her is very nice since revenge is served on a cold plate and her skills are really good that can bring a lot of help to the team to win the game which is always the goal.

It is not a difficult hero however you must consider where to place your turrets and transporter your main fort are small rooms through which the enemy passes and can help your turrets to finish any enemy including tanks.

For me he is an extremely powerful hero and I am always careful, the beam of his weapon follows the target and increases the damage every second until I think that if the enemy is on his back he also hurt something strange. The energy ball is great against long-range enemies and causes a lot of damage, in terms of its shield project serves to approach enemies and cover the long-range enemies.

As for his special ability for me it is the best of Overwatch since it helps the whole team, it is very important for the allied team since in Overwatch time is always essential and you can move from one place to another in a matter of seconds gives you a great advantage against the enemy, I recommend placing the portal near the battlefield, but in a place where it is also protected by your companions.

  • The skins "Devi" and "Goddess" of Symmetra make her look like Kali, a Hindu goddess who represents Time, Change, Power, Creation, Preservation and Destruction.
  • The Symmetra design could be a reference to the Portal games series.
  • The achievement "Great success" is a direct quote from the song Still Alive, sung during the final credits of the first game by Ellen McLain, the voice actress of GLaDOS.

To conclude one of my recommendations is to take care when they see a Symmetra in the enemy team so they do not catch them by surprise, as to face it try not to fight against it 1 vs 1 and if they are at a disadvantage less since Symmetra's abilities they can make a big difference and if they play with Symmetra they take care of the turrets and especially the transporter, since that will help the team a lot, if they have a doubt about Symmetra or Overwatch they can write in the comments.
