Gamer Alert: What if Steem Monsters and Spells Of Genesis Partnered?

enter image description here

Many years ago, I became an ICO investor into the Spells Of Genesis (SOG) project as a partner.

Spells Of Genesis

SOG was the one of the first games developed specifically to combine mobile gaming and blockchain together. Being a partner allowed me to purchase several Ownership Revolution on the Blockchain (ORB) cards; I have 31 different cards.

SOG developer EverdreamSoft choose the Counterparty protocol for their blockchain implementation. I've been a BitShares/Steemit and now a EOS chain enthusiast for years.

Steem Monsters

Recently, I've discovered a project on Steemit called Steem Monsters. The project seems to have gained a large following. This got me to thinking, what if I could trade or use my BitCrystal ORBs cards in Steem Monsters and vice versa?

Benefits of a Possible Partnership

I think a possible partnership would be good for both projects. It will ORBs holders find a new source of liquidity in Steem. The Steem Monster's could gain an entirely new following from SOG.

What do you think?

What do you guys think about a possible partnership? Vote 'Yes' or 'No' in the comments.

Thanks,

Yes.

Definitely would be cool if these partnered up.

I've been trying to promote SoG here on Steemit recently with videos and a couple of giveaways.
Am hopeful things pick up.

Good to see other SoG and BCY enthusiasts here ☺

@goose20 Hey! I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one here. I hope this can draw some attention to the possibilities of the partnership. Thanks for supporting.

What is your definition of many years ago? Didn't the first blockchain only come into existence 10 years ago?
Doesn't this post from two years ago https://steemit.com/blockchain/@bloggersclub/spells-of-genesis-online-mbile-gaming-coming-to-blockchain also contradict the concept of "many years".

It seems to me that steem monsters isn't even made yet and people are trading cards already. This would make it difficult for those who want to actually see a working game before getting into it to compete later on.

Unless the game difficulties are roughly the same, partnering the 2 might present some issues with interchangeability between the different cards. Although it may seem like a good idea at first glance, I think it might not be so easy to actually form a partnership in the way of making the cards universal.

I think the art in SoG is also far superior and would find it difficult to trade a SoG card for a Steem Monsters card.

Interesting idea though.

@happyme Thanks for the feedback and insight.

I'm always willing to share my thoughts. Sometimes my thoughts are way out in left field and I actually prefer being told I'm wrong rather than keep thinking I'm correct, so if anyone has information that shows the partnership could easily be accomplished, I would like to know about it and how it could be done.
