Even though it's often the same franchises that get nominated every, I kinda like the Steam Awards. Here are my picks for anyone interested.
- Game of the Year : Assassin's Creed Odyssey
I played none of the nominated games so I just picked this game because of how much my friends like it. - VR Game of the Year : SUPERHOT VR
It's the only VR game that made me consider buying a VR headset so it was a pretty easy choice, plus it's the one I had nominated already. I'm sure VR Chat will win though. - Labor of Love : Stardew Valley
Such a lovely game, I had to vote for it. I also considered voting for No Man's Sky due to how much its developers are doing to repair the mess that was the game on release. - Best Environment : The Witcher® 3: Wild Hunt
Random vote to be honest, haven't played any of those games yet. - Better with Friends : Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
It has been my go-to game for years when playing with my friends. I really wanted to see Ultimate Chicken Horse in the nominated games, sadly it isn't popular enough to be in there. - Best Alternate History : Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Once again, this is completely based on what my friends think of it. - Most Fun with a Machine : Rocket League
It's one of my go-to games too. My second choice would have been Euro Truck Simulator 2 because of how awkwardly addictive it can be. - Best Developer : Klei
They keep releasing quality games, it's crazy. Plus Hot Lava is going to be an amazing parkour game, I mean it already is but it will be even more.
Ahh CSGO was my go to game but then PUBG came out. Once I phased out of PUBG I jumped onto Overwatch and never really got back into CSGO!
Great choices there!
